GRETNA GKEEN Is in Dumfries, S. Scotland, near the borders Hero runaway marriages were contracted for many years, as Scotch law ruled that an acknowledgment before witnesses made a legal marriage. The place thus became famous, but not so famous as Wolfe's Schnapps, which, on its merits as a stimulant of the finest quality, is well known through out the world. It is wise to buy whoxe bottles and to deface the labels after use, as sometimes the empty bottles are refilled with cheap, unwholesome gin, and sold for the original Wolfe's Schnapps. 12
