TTTWERYONE confined all day, whether in a shop, factory or office, sooner or later Hi becomes a dyspeptic. Tin.- want of out-door exercise and fresh air, no matter how perfect apparently the ventilation is, soon tolls its tale. The appetite needs tempting, the bowels become irregular, the nerves get irritable, and a depressed feeling occasion.-illy comes over the spirits, and one feels that all is not as it should be in this sphere of ours. This, combined with sleepless nights, or, if sleep is obtained, it is disturbed with bad dreams, and on awakening the feeling of want of rest is as graat, in fact, very often greater, than when sleep was sought the previous night. The popular impression is that this cannot be altered without altering one's conditions of life ; that the inside occupation must give way to out-door exercise to ensure a return to health. This is not so.
