Clifton, Norfolk House, Norfolk Street, Strand, London, England. A meeting of the Provisional Committee of the Sports Club was held on Monday at the Trocadero. Mr C. H. Izard in, the chair. The rules as drafted by the sub-committee were approved. It was reported that a large number of applications for membership have already been received. Messrs Wooldridge, Tringham and Henderson were appointed a committee to look after premises. A general meeting will be held on Tuesday night next. A special meeting of the City Council will he hold on Monday week noxt to consider the Imiiding by-laVs, .......
