A MEMBER OF PARLIAMENT RESIGNS HIS SEAT. London, May 21. Dr Macgregor, M.P. for Inverness, has resigned his seat in the House of Commons, owing to Sir W. V. Harcourt refusing to facilitate a Bill for improving the position of the crofters. Dr D. Macgregor is a member of the Liberal Party. He is a well-known medical man, and has held several important positions in his profession, but retired from practice some years ago.
