The Times Paris correspondent states that the Powers are discussing the Chinese indemnity, which he believes to have been fixed at <£110,000,000. Reports from Tokio state that Admiral Kabana has been appointed Viceroy, and has sailed for Formosa with a view to obtain the formal transfer and take possession of the territory.
