LORD ROSEBERY'S ILLNESS.
London, March 20. An official bulletin states that Lord! Rosebery is- suffering considerably from the effects of insomnia, and, despite the change-, of air, the ailment is seriously retarding his? recovery. He is at present unable to attend to any business unless of the most urgent nature. London, March 21. The Pall Mall Gazette says the general opinion is that Lord Rosebery must resign. The Times says universal and profound regret is felt at the condition of Lord Rosebery's health, and expressions of deep sympathy are heard on all sides. It is. suggested that a sea voyage might have a. beneficial effect. •'- The Radical newspapers fear that Lord Rosebery contemplates resigning the Premiership at an early date, owing to his illhealth. London, March 22. It is officially announced that Lord Rosebery does not intend to resign. The Lancet bays that neither driving nor walking in the country has had the effect of removing Lord Rosebery's insomnia, and his fortitude under the circumstances is remarkable. -
