The Customs duties collected at the port of Wellington last month amounted to .£30,437 18s lid as against =£26,992 Os 8d for the corresponding month of last year, and .£34,257 15s lOd for the preceding month. The details for last month are -Spirits in bulk, .£2970 13s 6d; spirits in case, .£1526 12s 4d; spirits perfumed, .£36 Is sd; cigars, cigarettes and snuff, .£1437 19s 4d; tobacco, <£3648 11s 6d; wine, sparkling, .£39 7s 6d; wine, Australian, <£l49 8s 10d; other wines, .£309 11s 9d ; ale and beer, <£44o 17s ; tea, .£1569 8s 4d; coffee, chicory, cocoa and chocolate, <£66 9s j sugar, molasses and treacle, .£1135 2s 6d; glucose, <£lol9s 7d; saccharine, 7s 9d; opium, .£l5B 5s ; goods by weight, <£4056 2s 6d ; goods ad valorem, <£12,181 6s lOd; other duties, .£694 14s 3d. The beer duty received here last month amounted to <£4os 15s Id, against £565 3s 9d for the corresponding month of last year, and <£6sß 6s 8d for the previous month. *
