MISSING FRIENDS. With a view to further increasing the f ability of the New Zealand Mail, the Editor has decided to introduce a new feature in the shape of a Missing Friends’ Column, in which will be published the names of persons for whom their friends are enquiring in the Home weeklies. Enquiries from persons in New Zealand and in the Australian Colonies for information ef missing friends will be inserted in this column at the rate of Is for each insertion. Eeplies will be forwarded to the Editors, pf Lloyd’s and other papers if desired. From Reynolds’ Newspaper. BODEN. —News wanted of Samuel Boden. Last heard of in Auckland, New Zealand, nineteen years ago. His brother, Isaac Boden, care of editor, Reynolds’s Newspaper, inquires. HAD WEN OR HAD WlN.—Wanted information of any of the above-named family, who lived for many years in some part of Lancashire about 1830. Some went to different parts of England, and some to the colonies. R. Hadwen, care of editor, Reynolds' Newspaper, would be glad to hear from any of them now alive. HASTIE (MRS EMMA) about 30 years since was addressed : —“ Care of Mr Marshall, chemist,. George street, Dunedin, New Zealand.” Her niece, E. Perrin, would be glad of news. (Sister - Louisa dead). JEWISS (JOHN and HENRY) are anxiously enquiredafpr by their parents. John left Piu,instead about 1874 for New Zealand, ahd obtained a situation as coachman there, Henry joined his brother a few years after and worked at steam brickmaking. When he last wrote Lome, 10 years since,’ he gave his address as Post Office, Sydney, N.S.W. ( V: JOHNSON. —Wanted the present address of Miss Sarah Head Johnson, who lived in Battersea Fields, near Battersea Park, in 1870. Anyone knowing her address will confer a favour by sending, the same to Thomas G. Ashton, care of editor. ROWLEY. —News wanted of John Capper Rowley, native of Lichfield, house painter and plumber, who left Pleasant street, Burslem, in 18,71. Was heard of five or six years ago ; then in Sydney, N.S.W\ Supposed to be in Auckland, New Zealand. His daughter, Louisa Swindell, care of Editor, Reynolds’s ,Newspaper, inquires. ; . WILKINS. —News would be gladly received of Mrs James Wilkins (maiden name Fludgell), who left London in 1865, last address, Tinakori road, Wellington, New Zealand., Last heard of in 1873. EDDIE (JOHN), of Burham, Kent, went to New Zealand about 22 years ago. Mrs Maria Bailey asks. LANGDON (ELLEN), of Northamptonstreet, Olerkenwell, went to New Zealand about 1883, and when last heard from was living at Mr Jamieson’s farm, Tinwald Post-office, Canterbury, N.Z. Mother longs for tidings. ME AKER (FRANCIS) went to Otago, New Zealand, in the ship Asia, in 1872 ; last seen by his brother in Waitate about 12 years ago (then nicknamed “Blueskin"). He had a sister, Mrs McClupp, baker and confectioner, in High street, Dunedin. Mother would be glad of any new?. Kerry, Ireland, nine years back, was last heard from about 1886, when a barmaid in the Star Hotel, Wellington, New Zealand. Sister Hannah inquires.
