RECHABITES' CONFERENCE.
... Blenheim, February 21. At the opening of the Eechabite Conference, central district, over 30 delegates were present. The election of officers resulted as follows : D.C.R., Bro. Cole Dunedin ; D.D.R., Bro. Piper, Nelson ; D.S., Bro. Fraser, Wellington; D.T., Bro Bennett, Wellington; D.S., Juvenile Tents, Bro. Fathers, Nelson; D. trustee, Bro Murphy, Wellington ; D. auditor, Bro. Cooper, Wellington. The pledge agreed upon by the Hobart Conference was adopted. The report showed an increase of 81 financial members during the year, and 98 juveniles. The amount paid in sick pay during the same period was .£1596 12s sd. The total district fund is now £4775 14s 3d, showing an increase of £776 16s 6d. This amount added to the tent funds gives a grand total of £20,162 7s lu, being an average of £lB 15s 9fd per member throughout the district.
