THE STEAMER ANGLIAN.

Messrs Huddart, Parkor and Company's steamer Anglian arrived hero on Friday after*noon from Melbourne via tho South. The Anglian, which was formerly engaged in tho Capo trade, was purchased by Messrs Huddart, Parker and Co. for .£20,000 to run in eon junction with tho Tasmania in the Aus-trahan-Now Zealand trade. The Anglian is commanded by Captain P. Lo Neveu. Mr E. Davis is chief officer, Mr S. W. Smith second, and Mr J. W. Cavanagh third. Mr W. Whitford is chief ongineor, and Messrs W.
