A special meeting of the Hutt County Council was held on Friday afternoon; present—Councillors Cook D. Speedy, C. W. Brown, G. Brown, and F. A. Majendie. On the motion of Councillor C. W. Brown, seconded by Councillor Majendie, it was resolved: "That the valuation list as signed by the valuer for the period commencing Ist April, 1895, and ending 31st March, 1898, be deposited at the offices of the Hutt County Council, 27, Lambton quay, Wellington, for inspection by all persons interested, and that it be utt instruction to the clerk to publicly notify the same in compliance with the provision of the Sating Act, 189-1."
