THE WELLINGTON CUP.
The Wellington Cup, which Mr Kami Pere, the owner ot Mahaki, had the pleasure of receiving at the recent meeting, together with the handsome amount of 400 soveieigns, is a magnificent trophy, containing over 150 ounces of silver. It is valued ut 100 guineas and with its ebony pedestal stands two feet six inches in height. The Wellington Racing Club are to be congratulated upon their enterprise in giving such an exceedingly handsome trophy. Our illustration will be found on page 20.
