SAN FRANCISCO MAIL.
By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, February 2. The B.M.S. Arawa, which has been placed in the San Francisco trade, arrived from San Francisco and Honolulu this morning. At Apia on the 28th ult. she met with a hurricane. The fore-topsail and awnings were carried away, and a soa shipped carried away the scullery and house forge and all movables. It was impossible to obtain observations till Ist: February. The passengers for Auckland are:— Mi3S Large, Mesdames Postlethwaite, Krause* Bachelor, Messrs Bryden, Hayes, Musgrave, Stearno, Postlethwaite, and 14 in til® steerage.
