A liafck means a horse that has never Avon an advertisod race to the net value of over 40 sovs (hack and hunters’ races excepted). 2. Nominations and Acceptances (in proper form) must be accompanied by tho necessary fee, otherAA r ise thoy will be rejected. If Nominations or Acceptances are telegraphed, tho fees must be forwarded by first mail thereafter. This rule will be strictly enforced. 3. Nominations must stato name, ago, colour, pedigree, and past performances whore not known to tho handicapper, and colours to be Avorn by the rider. 4. Tho Avinner of any advertised race, after the declaration of Aveights, to the not value of 30 sovs, to carry a penalty of 51b in tho Sandon Handicap. The winner of any advertised race, after declaration of Aveights, to the net value of 30 sovs, to carry a penalty of 71b in tho Flying Stakes Handicap and 51b in tho Tramway Handicap. 5. All races to be run under tho “ Rules of Racing,” as adopted by tho Metropolitan Clubs in New Zealand.
