The Hospital Trustees met yesterday week. Present Messrs F, H. Fraser (chairman), J. Collins, L. L. Harris, J. Danks, C. E. W. Willeston, G. Allen and Rev H. Yan Staveren. A letter was received from the Inspector-General stating, with reference to the failure of the local bodies to elect trustees, that the Governor had no power to appoint trustees under the circumstances. Mr Yan Staveren said that in that case the trustees representing the local bodies last year would remain' in office for another term. The application of Mrs Norgrove for the lease of a section in Molesworth street, lately in the occupation of Mr Duignan, was granted. The chairman made a feeling reference to the death of Miss Ada Crease, who had been one of the nurses at the institution. It was decided to send Mrs Crease and family a letter of condolence.
