ARRIVAL OF THE DORIC. Tha R.M.S. Doric, which arrived in port on Saturday evening, left Plymouth at 1.52 pm on the 3rd November, having on board 48 first, 42 second and 116 third-class passengers. On leaving Plymouth she experienced strong southerly winds and heavy seas across the Bay, thence moderate .southerly winds with fine Aveather to arrival at Teneriffe at 8.54 am on the_ Bth November, the passage occupying 4 days 19 At Teneriffe she landed seven first-class and embarked two first-class passengers, and after coaling left at 8.54 pin the same day. She experienced moderate south-easterly winds to 19deg N., thence variable winds to Equator, which was crossed at 4.30. pm on the 14th November in long 9deg 29min W. From thence she experienced moderate south-easterly winds 'throughout to Capetown, which was reached at ,8.46 am on the 23rd November, the passage from Capetown having taken 14 days, 9 hours, 38 minutes. She left Capetown at 2 pm the same day, and experienced easterly winds unt 1 the 25th ;; thence moderate southwesterly and north-westerly winds, with fine weather to Hobart;-which was reached at 7 am on the 11th inst.ythe passage being made in 17 days, 8 hours, 25 minutes; landed at Hobart 47 passengers and -175 tons of cargo, and left at 5.30 pin. From Hobart light airs and fine weather were carried throughout. Passed Farewell Spit at 8.20 am, and arrived at Wellington at 5.7 pm, the passage from Hobart being 3 days, 21 hours, 56 minutes.
