WELLINGTON WOOLLEN COMPANY
At the board meeting of the Wellington Wooden Company on Wednesday last it was decided by the' directors to reply to the report of the Investigation Committee by a print ed statement which will be distributed to each shareholder. The directors also unanimously resolved to resign in a body, and so give the shareholders—with both statements before them, that of the committee and directors—the opportunity to say whether they still retain the confidence of the shareholders or not. An advertisement appears elsewhere calling a meeting of shareholders for Wednesday, 9th January. Nominations for the directorate must be lodged by the 24th inst.
