jfolr Alexander Low is to take the management of the Wellington branch of the New Zealand Drug Company's business. Before ho left Dunedin the company's employees presented him with a gold albert, sovereign case, engraved pendant, and pipe, and tor Mrs Low a handsome gold brooch, set with diamonds. The shipping people, amongst whom Mr Low has a wide circle of friends, presented him with a travelling trunk and pipe, as a mark of their esteem and good fellowship.

The Hon Mr Cadman has received a letter from the Russian Department of Mines, conveying their thanks to him and to the various mining companies for the courtesy shown to M.
