Winner of Trial to carry a penalty of 51b; winner of Glasgow Plate Handicap to carry a penalty of 101 b ; should same horse win Trial and Glasgow Handioap to oarry a pen« slty of 101 b only. Acceptances and general entry oloße at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, 17th May. RULES AND REGULATIONS. 1. No entry shall be received for any race except upon the condition that all claims, d sputes, and objections shall be decided by the Stewards or whom they may appoint, and their decision upon all points shall be final. . 2. All protests must bo accompanied with a deposit of £2, which sum is forfeited to the funds if the protost is nos nustained. 3. All nominations, entries, and accept, ances, accompanied by the necessary amount in cash, must be an dressed and delivered to the Secretary not later than the advertised time of closing, with performances, pedigree, and colours of the rider. 4. No eutry will be received under any pretence whatever after the hcur named. 5. Horses walking over will only receive 50 per cent of the stakes. 6. The Stewards! resprvo the right to alter the'day of meeting,; the amount of added money, to mace any addition or alteration to the meeting at any time prior to the nominations becoming due for such meeting, subject to the approval of the Wellington Racing Oub. 7. Hacks shall mean hovso3 that have never won an advertised Sj'ake at the date of meeting (hack and hunter rao33 exceptedj and that are not nominated for a Derby Guineas, St Leger, or Sapling Stakes at the time of start.
