A meeting of the committee of the Wellington Amateur Athletic Club was held at the Occidental Hotel on Wednesday, Mr H. D. Bell (president) in the chair, A balance-sheet of the recent Championship Meeting in Wellington was presented, showing a credit balance of L 97. The meeting voted L 5 5s to the Cricket Association. The date of the Autumn Meeting was fixed for the 15th April next. Hearty votes of thanks were passed to the president for entertaining the visitors to the recent meeting, to Mr J. W. Davis for his services in laying out the track, &c., and to Mr J, B. Tringham (secretary).
