ATTEMPTED SUICIDE.
(press association). Chiusichurch, December 7. A woman named Mary Ann Soott was chaiged to-day with nt'empting suicide by taking linamont containing laudanum. She is separated from her husband, who is suing fora divorce. She came from Melbourne to answer aud gave her husband access to his child, and ho, sho alleges, took the child away in defiance of the terms of the deed of separation. The case was adjourned for a week.
