LORD ONSLOW’S RESIGNATION.
(PRESS ASSOCIATION.) Christchurch, December 6. Lord Onslow, in his reply to the City Council’s expression of regret at his resignation,- says he hopes the resignation of his official position will afford him an opportunity of showing his appreciation of the hearty reception whioh has been accorded him ever aiuoe lie first arrived in New Zealand, and his interest in all that concerns the prosperity and happiness of the people of New Zealand. 1
