THE CO-OPERATIVE RAILWAY CONTRACTS.
(PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.) Westport, April 1. The Denniston unemployed miners, to whom the Minister for Public Works gave the construction of one of the sections of the Mokihinui Railway at the usual rates, are preparing to take up the contract. The Westport unemployed have also set inito work on the three sections given to them. The work is being carried out under the co-operative system.
