THE MISSING BARQUE ROSE M.

(per press association.) Auckland, March 19. No hopes are entertained here for the safety of the barque Bose M., which left Kaipar»_ on January 11th for Melbourne and has not since be«n heard of. The Bose M. was a wooden barque of 399 tons, owned in Sydney and commanded by Captain Wright. Sydney, March 23. The interior fittings of a barque have been washed ashore near Kempsey, 280 miles north of Sydney. They are painted pink. A number of small kauri blocks have also been washed up. [lt is not improbable that this wreckage will turn out to be the remains of the barque Bose M., which left Kaipara for Melbourne with a cargo of timber on the 11th January, and has not since been heard of. The Bose M. is a wooden barque, owned in _ Sydney, and was commanded by Captain Wright.]
