The latest news from Chili is that tbe Garrison at Valparaiso, with their Major, have joined tho insurgents. This is a great blow to President Balmaceda. Valparaiso, March 20. The Congress of Chili will send a delegate to Paris in connection with the French interests in the Republic.
Two-thirds of the inhabitants favour tfe® insurgents, and it is anticipated the rebeHaws will end in a division of the country. London, March 22. A Times special from Santiago says that the President of Chili is in difficulties, and the critical moment of the struggle has arrived. London, March 23. Horrible details have come to band of tbe fighting in Chili. It is stated that two hundred of the insurgents wei-e tied together and shot by cannon and rifle fire.
