At the Addington saleyards to-day, in fat sheep there was a small entry and the demand was slack, the freezing factories being temporarily closed. Prices were a shilling lower than last week. Best crossbred wethers, 10s 6d to 14s ; do, mixed sexes, 9s to 13s ; do, ewes, 8s to 12s ; mutton, ljd to 2d per lb per carcase. Of fat lambs there was a fair supply and prices were lower, viz., best, 9s to 10s 6d. In fat cattle there was a medium entry of indifferent quality, and business was dull. Best steers, L6to L 7 10s; cows and heifers, L 3 10s to L 5 ; beef, 18s to 20s per lOOlbs. In store sheep there was a small entry and little doing. The store cattle market was quiet. In pigs there was a small entry, and values are unchanged.
