ARRIVAL OF THE VOLTA.

(per press association. ) Dunedin, November 24. The French warship Volta (Captain Hugnet) arrived this forenoon, and anchored below Port Chalmers. She was visited bv Mr P. C. Neill, Frenon Vice-Consul, and the Mayor of Dunedin. The Volta carries six 14iu guns, six revolving, and one traversing gun, all of the most recent date. Captain Huguet intends taking his vessel up to Dunedin.
