A letter addressed to the chiefs and people of Rotorua is at present in circulation iu that district, and urges that a warrant should, be issued for the arrest of the Treasurer and Native Minister on a charge of keepiqg back the rents of the Rotorua township. It purports to be signed by “H. Ho worth, Wellington.” The Herald under* stands that moat of the owners’ interests in the Rotorua township have been purchased, and any claim for back rents thus extin. guished.
