MR CARGILL’S CLAIM.
(PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.) Dunedin, June 26. At a special meeting of the shareholders of the Equitable Insurance Association to consider Mr E. B. Cargill’s claim of £3OO for acting as manager, the following resolution was paßßed, after a very lively discussion :—“ That the sum of £3OO be entered to the credit of Mr E. B. Cargill a account for calls due by him to the Asaociation in consideration of the services rendered by him for the year ending March, 1889, provided that the sum of £IOO cash, being the balance for calls due by Mr Cargill up lo the 30th of June next be paid by him within one week from the passing of this resolution, and that the remaining calls be paid as and when they fall dne.
