WELLINGTON GUARDS.

PRESENTATION OF PRIZES. The annual concert and presentation of prises in connection with the Wellington Guards was held last night week. The corps assembled at the Drillshed shortly after 7 o’clock, and, headed by the Garrison Band, marched to the schoolroom where the concert was held. There was a large attendance, and a capital programme was performed. The ladies and gentlemen who contributed items were Mrs Mackintosh, Misses Osborne, Yoemans, Graigg, Messrs Ellison, Mackintosh, Young, Munfe, Ross, Boyd, and Patterson. The accompaniments were shared by Miss Yoemans and Mr J. Maginnity. During an interval in the concert the prizes were presented by Mrs Mackintosh, the list being as follows : Ammunition Prizes. —A Class —Sergeant Richards, one prize, 30 rounds ; ColourSergeant Hale, one prize, 20 rounds. B Glass —Captain Mackintosh, one prize, 30 rounds; Sergeant Stephens, one prize, 30 rounds ; Sergeant Baoon, one prize, 20 rounds ; Volunteer O’Sullivan, one prize, 20 rounds. C Class —Corporal H. Herbert, one prize, 30 rounds ; Volunteer Ferris, two prizes, 50 rounds. D Class Volunteer Jones, two prizes, 60 rounds; Volunteer Fowler, two prizes, 40 rounds. Class Trophies.—A Class —Volunteer A.
