ARRIVAL OF LORD KINTORE.

The Earland Countes3of Kin tore, with two children, arrived here from the Bluff, ex Mararoa, about 5 p.m. The City Guards supplied a guard of honour on the station platform, where the Garrison Band played the National Anthem on arrival of tho party. The Mayor had a carriage in readiness to drive them round the town, but his Lordship said he had uo time to do so, being due in Dunedin to-night. The party left by special immediately. Dunedin, January 20. The Earland Countess of Kintoreandparty arrived about 10.30 by special train. The Highland Rifles formed a guard of honour, and the Hussars an escort to Government House, «here the party are the guests of Lsdy Onslow. January 21. Lord Kintore visited the Exhibition to-day. After a couple of dayi’ fishing, he will leave for the Sounds by the Hinemoa.
