Thursday, Jahuary 9. Arawa, R.M.S., 3267 tons, Stuart, for London, via Bio de Janeiro, Teneriffe and Plymouth. Levin and Co, agents. The ss Neptune left Blenheim at 7 pm on Wednesday, and met with a strong SE gale ti 1 arrival here at 4am yesterday. She returned last. The U.S.S. Co’s ss Waihi left Blenheim at 6.30 pm on Wednesday, and experienced a strong '3E gale till arrival here at 3 am yesterday. She returned last night. The U.S.S. Co’s ss Grafton left Greymouth at midnight on the 6th inst, Westport at midnight on the 7th, Nelson at 8 pm on the Btb, and arrived here at 9.15 am yesterday. Experienced fine weather to Nelson, thence strong SW wind and sea till arrival. During the height of the gale the Bide lights in front of the saloon were smashed in. She returns to-day. The ss Kennedy left Nelson at 6.15 pm on Tuesday, and arrived here at 8.15 am yes--terday. Experienced strong SW gale and seas, and was obliged to taka shelter in Ohau Bay for 21 hours. She sailed for Nelson and West Coast ports yesterday afternoon. The U.S.S. Co’s ss Takapuna left Lyttelton at 10.5 pm on Wednesday, and met with a strong SE gale till arrival here at 10.25 am yesterday. She returned ye3terday afternoon. R.M.S. ARAWA, FOR LONDON. The Shaw, Savill and Albion Company’s R.M.S. Arawa sailed for London yesterday afternoon. She took a full cargo, and thefollowing passengers: Saloon—Mesdair.esßocke, Govett, Messrs D. Burt, H. S.
