(per press association.) Nelson, December 26. The weather has been fine for the holidays, and a large number of visitors have been in town. The regatta to-day was very successful and largely attended. There was a good breeze for the sailing races, and the finishes were close and excitiDg. Low’s Seoret won the yaoht race. In the rowing events the senior fours (inrigged) was won by the Wellington Rowing Club, the Wakatu boat having her canvas split, and being swamped. The maiden fours (inrigged) was won by the Wakatus by four lengths, Wellington Rowing Club 2, and Nelson Rowing Club 3. Senior fours (outriggers) was won by three lengths by the Wellington Rowing Club, Wakatu second. Junior fours (outriggers) was won by the Wakatus by fifteen lengths, Wellington Rowing Club second. The champion pairs was between the Wellington and Star Clubs. The former won by a length and a quarter. The Stars should' have won but for the erratic sreering. .S'
