WELLINGTON DISTRICT LAND BOARD.

The ordinary meeting of the Wellington District Land Board was held Wednesday. Present—Messrs Darby (Chairman), Death, Barton, and Russell. An application was received from Mr Richard Butler,.of the Upper Hutt, asking the Board to supply him with forty drain pipes to lay down in front of his butcher’s shop, but the Board decided that they had tib power to grant his request. The warden of No. 2 ward was authorised to have the public road defined through the Pauatahanui Public (deserve. The tender of Edward Draper for the maintenance of the Small Farm Road from Pauatahanui Bridge to Taylor’s Run, for two years, for the sum of LlB3, was accepted.
