It will be seen from this week’s cable messages that the man who confessed to one of the horrible murders in England has proved to be insane. It is a common form of insanity at times of public excitement over some great crime for persons to accuse themselves of its perpetration, and this is probably such an instance. The horrible mystery thus remains as far from solution as ever.
