Dunedin, December 15.. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company report (per Mr D. Stronach) as follows: —214 cattle were- yarded. Best bullocks brought L 8 10s to LIOTOs ;two or three pens extra well finished for Christmas, Lll to Ll 3256 d ; medium, L 5 10s to LB. Beef 20s to 22s 6d per 100 lb. Sheep—lS6s were penned. Best crossbreds, shorn, brought 8s 9d to 10s 9d ; ordinary, 5s 6d to 8s 6d ; merino wethers in the wool, 7s to 10s 9d. Mutton, l£d to l|d per lb. ICOI lambs brought 2s 6d to 10s 9d each. There were 267 pigs. Suckers brought 8s to 15s ; stores, 8s to 23s ; porkers, 26s to 35s ; baconers, 363 .to 4’Js.
