Humphrey’s Gully claim is going on as usual, a good, supply of water being available. Thecontract for the Mount Brown extension has now been so far completed that the water was turned in yesterday to test the work, and within the next day or two it will be sent down the faces, which will materially add to the effective power. The total amount of the Mont d’Or washings is 480 oz, of the value of £1720. A dividend of Is per share was declared. The Ross United tributors, at Douoghue’s, washed up with 140 oz.
