(UNITED TRESS ASSOCIATION.) Hokitika, November 26. At the Ross United on Saturday lasfc work at the mine was suspended while some slight repairs were being effected to tho winding turbine. These were completed oa Tuesday, and work resumed at midnights The returns since then have been 270 z Bdwt for five shifts of eight hours each. The tributors for the Prince of Wales’elevators are now washing up, The returns; will be in to-morrow, and appearances indicate that they will be satisfactory. Humphrey’s Gully claim is going on as usual, a good, supply of water being available. Thecontract for the Mount Brown extension has now been so far completed that the water was turned in yesterday to test the work, and within the next day or two it will be sent down the faces, which will materially add to the effective power. The total amount of the Mont d’Or washings is 480 oz, of the value of £1720. A dividend of Is per share was declared. The Ross United tributors, at Douoghue’s, washed up with 140 oz.
