THE PORT CHALMERS DOCK.
(UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION.) Dunedin, November 26;
A warm debate took place at the Harbor Foard meeting on the question of the dock trust in regard to floating a loan to proceed ■with the construction of a dock. The Dunedin members strongly opposed the course taken. Mr Donald Reid characterised •the course adopted as reckless squandering, .and said that what had been done was calculated to mislead money-lenders.
