AUCKLAND AMATEUR ATHLETIC CLUB.

Auckland, October 30. The Amateur Athletic Glub’s sports were held to-day in the Domain, in conjunction with the Waitemate Bicycle Club. Two thousand persons were present. The Mayor presented the Rugby Union prizes, also the bronze medal of the Humane Society to Captain Leeman, of the ship Waitangi, for saving the lives of the third mate and steward in Napier Harbor.
