DEATH OF AN OLD SETTLER.
(FROM OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT J Greytown North, July 31'. Dr. Stebbings Revans, an old Wairarapa? settlers, died at noon to-day. He left Canada for New Zealand in 1861, and has resided inthe Wairarapa with his brother ever since he airivpd. His age was seventy-nine, and within a short time of his death he was able to walk, long distances with little fatigue.
