RIOTS IN HOLLAND.

Amstebdam, July 27. Serious riots, caused by Socialists, occurred here yesterday. The troops were called out to aid the police, and fired repeatedly on the mob, who had erected barricades in some of the principal streets. Fourteen Socialists were killed and 34 wounded, while 40 Dolicemen, who bore the brunt of the> contest with the rioters, were injured more or less seriously. Order was at length restored, and to-day the city is quiet. Amstebdam:, July 28. No further Socialist disturbances have occurred here, and perfect quiet has been restored. Latest accounts show that 25 Socialists were killed in the recent riots.
