THE POPULATION OF AUCKLAND.
(UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION.) Auckland, May 8. The census enumeration is not finished, but it is believed that the population of the City of Auckland and suburbs exceeds 50,000. The City of Auckland alone contains 33,250, whilst the Boroughs of Parnell, Newmarket, and Newton all exhibit enormous increases.
