It is requested that all communications intended for insertion in the news column may be addressed to The Editor. Also, that correspondents will write on one side of the paper only, otherwise their letters cannot be accepted, The widest latitude consistent with good taste will be extended to correspondents, but the slightest approach to scurrility or personality ■will stamp correspondence as unsuitable for insertion. Theological disputation is also to be deprecated. Anonymous correspondence will be rejected. The names of writers must be attached to letters, not for publication, unless they desire it, but as guarantee of good faith on their part. Letters relating to advertisements and to the Commercial Department should be addressed to The Mana«jer. Adherence to this rule is earnestly requested. Subscribers who do not receive their papers regularly are requested to at once communicate with The Manager, in order that the fault may be rectified. 83
