PROSPECTS FOR SEASON The first meetinsr of the control board of the .Auckland Football Association was held last evening, when Mr I>. A. Williams was re-elected chairman. He expressed the hope that, with the ncwly-constitnted board, comprising direct club representation, the code would benefit considerably. Mr Williams also referred to the applications from new and old clubs (which had been in recess) for senior status, this season. This augured well for the future of the game.
