THE TAKAPUNA GRAMMAR Three junior records were broken at the annual athletic sports of the Takapuna Grammar School. In the senior championship R. B. Browne led from Clendon by 2 points. .1. N. TODAY'S SPORT Chief interest in cricket will be centred this afternoon in the final of the Auckland •Vssoriaiion's senior championship between Midillemore and Kdcn-l'onsonby-Baliiioral at Fden Park. The former is one point ahead of ils rivals. The finals of the senior B and third grades will also be decided at F.den Park. Two senior matches will be played at Papatoetoe and another at North Shore. The amateur athletic season will be closed with Ihe relay championships of the Auckland centre. An ocean yacht race for the Balakovic Cup will be held by the Royal Akarana Yacht C'lnb. The annual inter-club non-class fours will be rowed over the Tamaki Drive course for the Nixon Cup. The West End Rowing Clud band the Wattemata Boating Club will hold fours.
