AUCKLAND EXCHANGE BUSINESS SLOWS DOWN A quiet day was experienced on the Auckland Stock Exchange yesterday, only eight, sales being officially recorded. Buyers bid keenly at late rates, but sellers wore seeking concessions that were not immediately available. Buyers raised their offers for Farmers' Auctioneering ordinary shares to 90s without securing supplies, and Farmers' Fertilizer preference sold 3d up at 23s 6d.
