PARLIAMENT ADJOURNS RESUMPTION ON MAY 19 (S.R.) WELLINGTON, Thursday An adjournment to Wednesday, May 19, was taken by the House of Representatives to-day at the conclusion of the debate on the Dominion's manpower requirements for the armed forces and industry. The adjournment was subject to the usual stipulation that Parliament could be called together sooner should any unforeseen development make this necessary. The House rose at 5.28 p.m. after the Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. P. Fraser, had replied to the debate. Three other speakers also contributed to today's discussions.
