With regard to the Committee's advertisement of May 27, such a very large number of applications have been sent in that it will lake the Committee some time to cope by visitation with all the applications; the sam'e i are being taken in the order received. This is to advise all applicants that their applications will receive attention as soon as possible; but no further acknowledgment than this intimation will be given unless the applications are considered favourably and relief granted- in which case advice will be given promptly.
