FAT STOCK SALES

WESTFIELD VALUES PRICES REMAIN FIRM Average entries in all sections were received at the weekly fat stock sales at Westfield yesterday and recent firm rates were fully maintained. Competition was keen for a full average entry of ox beef, while cows and hoifera sold freely at very firm Quotations. The calf yarding was extra heavy, and tihe bidding was keen, although it slackened toward the end of the sale. Values generally were lower, plain and unfinished calves being affected most. In the pig market there was a email entry. The sale was spirited, porker prices improving considerably.
