AUCKLAND INDUSTRIES
VISIT BY MINISTER With a view to visiting a number of Auckland industries, and describing their activities as widely as possible to let the public know what New Zealand industry is doing, the Minister, of Labour, the Hon. P. C. Webb, is visiting Auckland. He said last night that he intended to arrange a secies of broadcasts in connection with industrial progress, and hoped also that industrial films might be made. The Minister yesterdav visited the New Zealand Glass Manufacturers Company Proprietary, Limited, and will inspect freezing works at Westfie;ld to-day. He will visit other industrial concerns before returning to Wellington in about a week's time.
